We are a Woodturners club located in the Corpus Christi Texas area.
Our
mission is to inspire, educate, and provide our membership with a forum to
enhance both their technical and artistic talents through a free exchange of
ideas and techniques.
The club was established in June 2001 with 8 members and has grown to our
current membership of 30. While not a small club we are small enough to
have a lot of camaraderie and exchange of ideas at our meetings. The
experience level within the club ranges from beginner to experienced, and as
you look through our member galleries you will notice that our preferred
turning projects are as diverse as our experience. If you are interested in
joining the club please contact one of the
club members and they will let you know when and where the next meeting will
be so you can attend and decided if you are interested.
We normally meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at
the Hilltop Community Center located at 11425 Leopard Street (about 1/4 mile
West of Violet Road) Corpus Christi. The club does not meet in December.
We are proud to be a chapter of the
American Association of Woodturners (AAW)
and the Southwestern Association of Woodturners (SWAT)
(Formerly the Texas
Turn or Two-TTT).
If you are interested in joining please fill out a "Membership
Application Form".
For additional information please
contact any member listed on the Member Roster.
